KTHE I Team Farner with international campaign for INVIA GROUP in 7 countries.

With seven core markets in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland, INVIA GROUP is the European market leader in the online travel segment. With its three brands ab in den urlaub, Invia and Travelplanet, the group reaches over 200 million visitors and 3 million customers per year.

The Viennese creative agency KTHE I Team Farner was successful in a cross-national pitch. The result: the international campaign theme “Happiness starts here”, which forms the essence of the joint development process and will subsequently be rolled out on a country-specific and brand-related basis. For example, in the markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland with the new claim “Happiness starts here.

At the heart of the campaign are two commercials, each focusing on couples and families. Here, however, the dream vacation takes a different course than usually shown: backwards. Accompanied by a suspense-generating countdown, the campaign shows pure vacation pleasure from the sunny destination to arriving, flying, departing, packing suitcases and the moment when everything starts: the click on the booking button. After all, anticipation is the best joy, or condensed: ‘Happiness starts here!’

“The creative concept of the campaign is something completely different compared to what I see in commercials in Germany. We are about six weeks before the vacations: ‘Happiness’ starts today,” said CMO Andreas Berg, INVIA GROUP. “The strategy and creative process with the team at KTHE I Team Farner was excellent, and we are very pleased with the successful outcome of our joint collaboration.”

The digital-first campaign is currently running widely on the widest-reach online channels and in all seven of INVIA GROUP’s core markets. In addition, the spots will be broadcast in Germany on the TV channels ProSieben, Kabel Eins and SAT.1 (Seven.One Media), among others. Further print as well as OOH measures round off the campaign activities.
