Austria’s media manager Rudi Kobza brings in Christian Ruff (41), a marketing, media & branding expert, as the new Managing Director of the video content agency and creative think tank diego5 I Team Farner.
Christian Ruff replaces Sandra Thier, who is taking maternity leave with immediate effect. The 20-strong team of the leading agency in the fields of online and video strategy, conception and marketing as well as branded entertainment will continue to work under the leadership of Christian Ruff with the claim “Film it. Feel it. The Power of Video”. He is regarded in the industry as a driving force and innovator who, for example, as the longstanding Managing Director and Marketing & Brand Director of a globally active private media university, has given many young people the tools they need to start a successful career in the creative, cultural and media industries. Born in Bavaria, he was Managing Director and Brand Director in the creative media sector. Most recently, as Creative Director of GroupM Austria, Ruff was jointly responsible for the conception and implementation of standard-setting projects such as the sCommerce format “dmLIVE” of the drugstore chain dm or the “IKEA Live Shopping Festival”.
